DEAL MAKER - just in case...

I would like to spend a few words telling you about our new friends from Sierra Vista - Arizona, in fact the DEAL MAKER's crew (you know who you are!). I will write this post in english in order to make them understand what I'm talking about.

As I already wrote in the Baja California post, me and my mate Mirko were wandering around Santa Rosalia, 50 bloody degrees, super-heavy backpacks, and 6 and more hours to go before taking the bus down to La Paz.

You've probably never been to Santa Rosalia: try to imagine a dusty small village in the middle of nowhere, BUT on the sea; we thought that the only smart thing to do was to have an ice-cold beer. OK, let's go to the local Marina.

We met these American guys (Sean, Jeff and Barry their names), who offered us a Pacifico, and later on invited us on their boat to have "some more" refrescos.

Actually we wanted to join a private party by the marina's pool, but we weren't welcome, so..."there are enough beers aboard, let's go!".

I guess the pictures above talk by themselves...However, it was a wild night - I had something like 10 cans of beer and a couple of Rum&Cola, Mirko lost his sunglasses headbanging, Sean played Angus Young with a fishing rod, Jeff found some black man's underwear somewhere in the boat's kitchen - and we almost missed the bus. Not bad for what it seemed to be a VERY BORING afternoon...
